Heres a video interview we did with The one & only Mr. 1218, Lil Rob, On Tuesday afternoon March 16th 2010 in San Diago California

Part 3 of this interview starts with, What is the status of your next project?

Lil Rob says he's working with Steve Vicious right now, Also with his lable "Up-Stairs Records" He says theres some tension there because he makes music he likes and thinks it bumps and thinks the Chicano Fans would enjoy, BUT the lable is more worried about if it will get radio play or not so they can sell more units, Lil Rob cares more about what his fans want to hear! He says he's trying to mix it all together so that it can be Chicano Style and radio music as well.

Next question, Would you ever consider putting a group together?

He says he should have did this a long time ago, He says he can, BUT it has to be with talented rappers that he can develop & have no ties in the rap game and arent signed to any lables, Because he doesn't want to take any rappers away from their group or lable because he doesn't want to deal with any of that drama!

Next question, How did the "La Raza Remix" come about with Diamonique & Kid Frost?

He says Fingazz called him and asked him to jump on it, He had no idea who else was on it when he did his verse, He's happy he did it though because he started talking to Frost right after that and he's been soaking up some "Vetenano Wisdom" from Frost about the rap game! Lil Rob says Frost is a good dude and he respects him.

Next question, How did the "My Lowrider" song come along with Paul Wall, E-40, The Game and others?

Lil Rob says he doesn't even remember how that came together, They some how got in contact with him and asked him to record it, So he recorded it with Fingazz and sent it to them, He says in San Diego the radio station plays the song with his whole 16 bar verse instead of only his 8 bar verse, He had it on cd BUT he can't even find it anymore.

Last question, Do you have anywhere online so fans can hit you up?

He also says that when twitter was new, the lable wanted him to twit, BUT he didn't want to because he didnt want people to know where he was at because he didnt want haters to follow him and fight him or cause any drama, He says he gets on there once in a while and lets you know what he's up to, like on this day for example, he told everybody he was gonna do this interview with us, He says people got at him though twitter and myspace and was asking questions for the interview.

He says he's still in this game But it's hard because if you arent on the radio, You arent really doing shit! He says he's trying to be on the radio without losing himself, He says he's Chicano & he has alot of pride and loves his family & his neighborehood, He says he doesn't understand why we kill each other over stupid shit, Lil Rob says that just the other day His little cousin got stabed 8 times & he doesn't understand why because it's all over stupid shit, He says we're all brought up the same way BUT for some reason, We all hate each other, He says his mentality has changed & this is the real deal, He's all about Brown Pride & doesnt give a fuck where you're from, He says he goes to Phoenix & Chicago & many other places & no matter where he goes, people love him & his music.

He says if you claim you're raza then we should all get along, We all have Nana's, Tata's, Tio's, Tia's, Nino's, Nina's, Primos, Primas, We're all RAZA so what is the difference?! He says he hopes you pick up his music for the right reason, He's not a gangster or criminal, He does right for his family!

Last Question, Any last words for your fans?

Lil Rob gives me ( Brown Prider ) & My brother Big Los a shout out and thanks us for coming down for the interview, He says The Chicano rap game needs more people like us to not only promote Chicano rap BUT also spread the word about BROWN PRIDE and set the youngsters on the right track that way they won't fuck up their lifes by gangbanging and to stay in school!

Lil Rob says he guesses he's a "Successful" Chicano Rapper, BUT we all strugle in life, He tells you to stay Humble, Don't burn any bridges and don't step on anybody's toes, Don't worry about the next neighborehood, Focuse on yourself and stay true to yourself!
